Dreamland (2022, 75x100)

This painting is a remake of a much smaller watercolour done years earlier. One of the very few in which there is a humanoid figure (albeit a leopard-skinned one): a distant face, peacefully observing the scene, perhaps a guardian, a deity, certainly a benevolent, non-destructive force.

 

Painting humans is not my thing. I prefer the natural and animal world, which knows no ulterior motive or greed, but simply is.
